Where are you located?

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Presque Isle is housed at the Aroostook Band of Micmacs. The building is at 7 Northern Rd. Presque Isle Maine 04769.

Is the club only for native youth?

No! Our Club is open to all youth in Presque Isle and the surrounding areas.

What services and programs are offered at the Club?

The Club offers many activities through our after-school and summer programs. Additional activities are offered through our partnership with the Micmac Youth Department and IHS. Check out our programs link!

What time are you open?

Hours vary by program and location. However, in general, the following schedule applies:

  • Office is open 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
  • Afterschool Program during the school year is open 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
  • Summer Program is open 10:00 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday.
  • The Micmac Youth Department offers transportation for ALL BGC members in the area, native or non-native.

Can I play sports?

The Club will be moving to a new building, in which a gymnasium is housed. Until then, we often do activities at the local colleges, including the pool and rock wall at Gentile Hall at the University of Maine at Presque Isle.

How much does it cost?

There is NO membership fee! Staff fundraise and seek donations throughout the year to cover costs.

Why would I want to join?

You'll want to join if you enjoy having fun, learning new things, participating in many different youth activities, and like to meet other children and youth in a safe and supervised environment.

Parents will want you to join if they're looking for a safe and positive place for your kids to go during the after school hours or during the summer. The Club is professionally staffed and geared to focus solely on the needs of kids.

How many members do you have?

The Club serves over 30 youth daily, and a total of over 150 youth from throughout Aroostook County.

My child takes medication at school during the day, can s/he receive medication at the Boys & Girls Club?

We cannot give or keep medication.
