Did you know that one in four kids are left unsupervised after school? Research shows that how kids spend their time after school can play a big role in determining their future. The Boys & Girls Club of Border Towns aims to set up kids for success by providing a wide range of supervised after-school programs.
Our umbrella organization includes the Presque Isle, Sipayik and Maliseet Boys and Girls Clubs, all of which are located on tribal lands. We're proud to serve more than 450 native and non-native members.

The rapid ongoing spread of COVID-19 has created uncertain and frightening times. With the current environment, the impact of the pandemic can have crippling effects on nutrition and food access.
Every day, our three clubhouses and 21st century community learning center open their doors to more than 100 youth between the ages of 5 and 18. As soon as our youth members walk through our doors, they enter an environment of stability, consistency and physical and emotional safety.
All of our clubhouses offer programs that are designed to be fun, be engaging and build the skills and confidence needed for a successful future. Plus, our clubhouses are strategically located in neighborhoods with the greatest need.
We're open when kids need us most:
Low-income families have enough trouble meeting their basic needs, let alone giving their kids a leg up in life. We're proud to offer free after-school resources to needy families.
We fund our programs through grants, fundraisers and generous support from donors. Contact us today to learn how you can support the Boys & Girls Club of Border Towns.
At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Border Towns, we are dedicated to making a significant impact on the youth of Aroostook and Washington County. I often ask myself, *"What if we weren't here?"* Our staff at our three locations-Presque Isle, Houlton, and Perry-work tirelessly to meet the needs of local youth, who rely on us as a crucial resource. Our clubs are seen as safe havens by our youth and their families.
Our programs go beyond mere entertainment; they provide a secure environment for play, growth, and learning, encouraging commitment to academics and personal development. Our educational initiatives help focus and support our youth, blending fun with learning to ensure their success.
Many of you are integral to our success story. Without your support, our Programming with Purpose would not exist. As you read through these pages, I am confident that more of you will be inspired to join our mission. Your involvement creates opportunities for a home base of friendship, study, and discovery, helping our young people grow into confident, healthy, and educated adults.
Every day, we rise to the challenge of making a difference in our communities by saving and improving the lives of our youth. I frequently hear from families and alumni who credit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Border Towns with shaping them into the individuals they are today.
My heartfelt thanks go out to our Board of Directors, professional youth development staff, volunteers, partners, and financial supporters. Our continued success relies on a strong team of passionate individuals like you who deeply care about children. This commitment is the foundation of our Club community. Thank you again for everything you do.
